About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to handle daily outbound shipments, documentation, and system updates. You’ll work closely with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.

Status: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $19.00/hr

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound shipments: pick tickets, packing slips, labels, and Bills of Lading (BOL)

• Book carriers and create shipments in small-parcel/LTL systems (e.g., UPS/FedEx/third-party portals)

• Perform accurate data entry in the WMS/ERP; reconcile orders and inventory moves

• Verify counts, lot/serials, and packaging; stage and hand-off shipments to carriers

• Maintain shipping records and filing per SOP; assist with cycle counts as needed

• Follow all safety procedures and housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

• Computer savvy with strong data entry accuracy

• Comfortable using Wave Runners

• Experience with shipping paperwork (labels, BOL), and carrier portals preferred

• Familiarity with WMS/ERP and RF/handheld devices a plus

• Ability to lift up to ~50 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift

• Reliable attendance; team-oriented with a sense of urgency
