Job Description

Electronics Assembler - 2nd Shift

Join our team as an Electronics Assembler, where you will work at a dedicated workstation assembling electronic components and uploading software and firmware into these components. Your role will include reading schematics, soldering using a microscope, crimping wires, and handling low voltage wiring.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic components at a workstation or assembly bench.
  • Upload software and firmware into electronic components.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Solder using a microscope.
  • Crimp and manage low voltage wiring.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with medical devices and electronic sub-assemblies.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and micrometers.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and repair computers.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience with IPCJ and J standard for soldering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Quality certifications such as TS16949, ISO 9001, and AS 9100.
  • Experience in medical device assembly and RC hobby.

Work Environment:

Our work environment is climate-controlled, relaxed, and clean, with individual work benches. The shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. A second shift will be added soon. Overtime is expected.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
