\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
\n• Every other weekend requirement (Saturday/Sunday for day shift)
\n• 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio for both day and night shifts
\n• Must be willing to help with upcoming holidays and start before Christmas
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
\n• BSN not required, first-time travelers accepted
\n• Use Epic EMR system for charting and documentation
\n• Work with Phillips Cardiac Monitors and review telemetry strips every 4 hours
\n• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, navy or white jacket, white or navy undershirt, natural hair colors only
\n• Distasteful tattoos must be covered
\n• Floor-specific orientation of 1-2 days depending on experience
\n• Manage various cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Labetalol, and others at set rates
\n• Care for patients with elevated troponin, chest pain, pre/post catheterization, STEMI/NSTEMI, and cardiac conditions
\n• Rarely required to float, but may assist ICU overflow or ortho/med-surg when needed
\n• Work on either 2nd floor (20 private beds) or 6th floor (22 beds, mix of private and semi-private)
\n• Must live more than 50 miles from facility and meet specific submission requirements
