As a Security Professional - Government Site in Soquel, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular tours throughout the assigned area, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Follow all company and client policies, procedures, and protocols while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and/or baton certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A valid drivers license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
