Physician Recruiter | Healthcare Permanent Placement Division

  • ONSITE in Shelton, CT, Lincoln, RI, OR Fort Myers, FL – YOU CHOOSE!
  • Full-time Mon-Fri, 8 am – 5 pm, 1-hour lunch

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter to join our contingent healthcare staffing team. This role will be primarily focused on recruiting physicians for permanent/direct hire positions across outpatient clinics, community health centers, and other healthcare organizations. While occasional recruitment for other providers such as NPs and PAs may occur, the primary responsibility is physician recruitment. You will manage the full recruiting cycle, from sourcing candidates to offer negotiation, ensuring a high-touch experience for both clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Sourcing & Screening:

  • Source physician candidates through Job Boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, ZoomInfo, and Bullhorn CRM
  • Review applications and conduct in-depth screening to assess qualifications, clinical experience, and licensure
  • Verify physician credentials, certifications, and licenses
  • Conduct candidate interviews and provide comprehensive assessments for clients
  • Draft candidate summaries and recommendations for client review

Hiring Coordination:

  • Manage interview scheduling and prep for physicians
  • Provide candidates with guidance throughout the interview process
  • Debrief candidates post-interview and relay client feedback
  • Conduct reference checks and facilitate offer letters and negotiations
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires

Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of recruiting activity and candidate pipelines in Bullhorn CRM
  • Set and meet recruiting targets
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize physician placement strategies

Qualifications:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in physician recruitment (NP/PA recruitment experience is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Healthcare or Human Resources-related fields preferred
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology, licensure, and industry trends
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment for physicians, from sourcing to offer acceptance
