Ensure all mail, trailing documents, credit files, and closing packages are received and updated on the mortgage production system. Contact settlement agents to retrieve trailing documents and audit documents received to data on mortgage production system, as well as, investor guidelines.\n\nTrack receipt of mail, trailing documents, credit files, and closing packages and update mortgage production system accordingly.\nMatch up credit files and closing packages to be prepped scanned to imaging software.\nUpdate file tracking software and process barcode for credit file.\nEnsure all checks received in closing packages are processed appropriately and in a timely manner.\nAudit trailing documents (Mortgages, Assignments, Consolidation Agreements (CEMAs) and Final Title Policies) per investor guidelines and in comparison to data on mortgage production system.\nContact settlement agents and title companies (via phone, fax, or email) to request outstanding documents and/or corrections.\nComplete various projects, as assigned, either individually or in a time environment.\nGenerate and follow-up on daily department reports, as needed.\nCommunicate with impacted areas regarding exceptions as they arise.\nAdhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.\nPromote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.\nMaintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.\nComplete other related duties as assigned.\n\nWork closely with both Internal and External Customers such as co-workers, Loan Production Office employees, settlement agents, and title companies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:\nAssociates Degree.\nPrior mortgage and/or customer service experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
