MIG And Flux Core Welder

Join our team as a skilled welder, where your primary focus will be on welding plates to beams and columns that will become integral parts of large structures across the country. You will be working with Flux-core and MIG welds on rails and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Weld plates to beams and columns using MIG and Flux-core techniques.
• Perform welding on structural components such as rails and stairs.
• Ensure high-quality welds on structural steel that meet precise standards.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in MIG Welding and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
• Ability to read welding blueprints and weld symbols accurately.
• Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in structural welding or relevant schooling is preferred.
• Strong understanding of welding fabrication processes.

Work Environment

The work environment resembles a large steel mill, focusing on large structural beams. You will work the 1st shift from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 5:30 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, totaling 49 mandatory hours a week. The facility is equipped for large-scale structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, ensuring projects are completed with precision, on time, and within budget.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
