Welder Job

Join our team in the welding department, where you will primarily engage in MIG welding of stainless and galvanized materials. You will be responsible for building parts for assembly and aftermarket parts, ensuring high-quality production.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on stainless and galvanized materials.
• Build parts for assembly and aftermarket parts.
• Read and understand fabrication drawings.
• Apply knowledge of Lean Principles and 5S to improve efficiency and productivity.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools.
• Experience in operating lathe machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing shop environment is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility where the noise level is loud, and hearing protection is required. While work is primarily indoors, large bay doors remain open, exposing you to weather elements. The environment is maintained per shift, but conditions can be dirty. Steel toe or composite toe boots (self-supplied) and proper PPE are mandatory. PPE supplied includes ear plugs, safety glasses/goggles or side shields for prescription glasses, gloves, arm shields, welding jacket, and helmet. Tools are issued by the employer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, DE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.79 - $21.79/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
