Clausen Miller P.C., a national law firm, is seeking a qualified Legal Assistant to join our Texas team. Experienced candidates will be detail‑oriented, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be familiar with Texas legal procedures, protocols and court system. Stellar candidates can work independently, monitor and meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, work well with others, and be knowledgeable with formatting legal documents. Responsibilities Perform conflicts checks. Maintain and organize files in a document management program. Prepare correspondence and pleadings. Prepare attorney expense reports. Calendar litigation response deadlines and civil remedy response deadlines. Draft pleadings and legal documents. E‑file in State Court and Federal Court. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook are a must. Location & Remote Work This position is a hybrid remote position (2 days in office, 3 days working remotely from home) and requires that you reside in the Houston, Texas area .
