Job Title: HVAC Service Manager
Job Description

As an HVAC Service Manager, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems including Carrier, Trane, and Munters. You will work primarily with rooftop units, ensuring their optimal functionality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including compressors, condensers, belts, and fans.
• Install HVAC systems, following blueprints and construction guidelines.
• Service and maintain rooftop units and package systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Work with a variety of systems, including Carrier, Trane, and Munters.

• Proficiency in HVAC installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HVAC systems, particularly rooftop units and package systems.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience with HVAC mechanical systems and maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC service contracts and procedures.

Work Environment

The position is based in Long Island, focusing on Nassau and Suffolk counties. You will travel to commercial buildings such as manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical companies, and office buildings. Initially, you will work with the lead service team, transitioning to independent work. Work hours typically range from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, extending to 6:00 pm during peak seasons, primarily in the summer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hauppauge, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
