Synensys is dedicated to enhancing safety and quality in high-risk environments. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Human Factors Engineer. The Human Factors Engineer will be responsible for conducting task analyses, usability engineering, and human-computer interaction assessments. The role involves applying human factors principles to improve system design and user experience. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address human factors issues in safety-critical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address human factors issues in safety-critical systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Relevant Human-Centered Design (HCD) or Human Factors Engineering (HFE) certification. 5 years of experience in HCD, usability testing, and human factors analysis using various methods as well as documenting findings, strategies, and plans. Experience supporting design and evaluation of user-facing and staff-facing systems. Experience assessing product compliance with human factors standards and evaluating user impact. Ability to translate user requirements into design specifications for products, processes, or systems.
