Bill's Market, a high traffic convenience store and gas station, is seeking a Convenience Store Management Associate . The Management team is responsible for the day-to-day store operations , including scheduling, training, and supervising employees. They are also responsible for the store's profits and all controllable expenses such as labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages. Responsibilities include: Assist in recruiting, recommending for hire, and training positive individuals to ensure excellent customer service in a high volume C-Store/Gas Station. Motivate, encourage, and challenge store cashiers. Promote and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly. Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and well-maintained. Ensure merchandise is stocked, displays are attractive, correctly priced, and safely displayed. Maintain brand image standards to pass evaluations. Monitor daily gasoline competitor activities. Complete daily paperwork and computer entries as directed by management. Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive-offs daily. Conduct store meetings as needed, at least once monthly. Perform all cashier duties physically and regularly. Understand and utilize daily store operation reports. Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures. Implement monthly promotions and ensure POS advertising/signage is properly posted. Handle price changes, markdowns, and ups as requested, communicating any issues to management. Enforce merchandising and vendor policies and procedures. Ensure safety and security protocols are followed, report unsafe conditions, and conduct safety/security meetings with documented attendance. Report and process all incidents or accidents involving employees or customers. Education / Experience: College education preferred. 3 to 5 years of convenience store management experience required.
