Job Description
Do you have experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift? Ambassador Personnel is seeking Equipment Operators to join our team.
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM
Pay: $19.50/hour
Responsibilities:
Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to select the correct products.
Label products using Sysco Order Selection (SOS) label technology.
Palletize products to build customer orders and deliver them safely to the dock.
Accurately select and load all products during the shift.
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to fill customer orders.
Work in areas with temperature and humidity variations, including dry, cooler, and freezer environments.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
Experience:
Professional Skills:
Ability to meet or exceed efficiency levels based on engineered production standards.
Able to work rapidly at a constant pace in a fast-paced environment.
Meet or exceed established cases-per-error goals.
Develop knowledge of product placement and inventory control procedures.
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively, including adherence to safety regulations.
Physical Demands:
Frequently lift products weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds.
Regularly reach up to 72 inches.
Constantly bend and twist while operating pallet jacks and/or forklifts to retrieve items from lower shelf areas.
