Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Job Title: Data Engineer Job Type: Direct Hire Benefits : 3% 401k Match, Medical Plans, PTO ** Please apply if you are within commutable distance to 92130 as this role requires onsite presence** Position Overview: We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This role supports our mission to optimize medication therapy services through data-driven solutions and automation. You will work alongside experienced pharmacists and engineers, contributing to meaningful healthcare projects that improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain secure data pipelines and applications supporting medication therapy services Collaborate with pharmacists to design tools that assist with patient interactions and treatment optimization Analyze historical healthcare data to improve prediction models and identify key indicators Work in a hybrid Linux/Windows environment to support application deployment and maintenance Design and implement secure infrastructure for healthcare applications Communicate data insights clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders Prioritize and manage data engineering tasks across multiple projects Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science & Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of Data Analytics experience Strong programming proficiency in Python and Pandas Proficiency with SQL and database technologies Solid understanding of Linux and hybrid Linux/Windows environments Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning Ability to perform complex data transformations Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of secure programming practices and computing protocols Formal education or certifications in computer security Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or patient data environments a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
