Description The ideal candidate will have a strong background in choreography, be able to create fun and engaging routines for beginner-level students, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment as the program continues to grow and progress. Proven experience as a dance instructor, with the ability to teach students of all ages and skill levels. Strong choreography skills with the ability to create routines that are both accessible and engaging. Knowledge and experience in a variety of dance styles and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring children. Working Conditions: This is a part‑time position that requires significant physical activity, including standing, walking, moving, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, and handling equipment as needed. Requirements This is a part‑time position ideal for someone who loves working with children of all ages and can motivate, inspire, and nurture young dancers to build confidence and develop their skills. Develop and teach original dance routines tailored to beginner-level students. Provide instruction in various dance styles, including ballet, modern, and contemporary. Encourage student participation, creativity, and confidence in a supportive classroom environment. Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners and address individual learning needs.
