My client, SafeNest, seeks a Chief Financial & Operations Officer (CFOO) to work closely with the CEO, and oversee 30 members of staff. This is a direct-hire (not a contract). Earn annual salary in the range of $165k - $175k plus bonus, 401k, and excellent benefits. This permanent, full-time job has offices at 3900 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas, 89107.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide executive financial leadership for an $810 million annual budget.
• Oversee financial planning, reporting, audits, investments, and forecasting.
• Ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with nonprofit accounting standards.
• Partner with the Boards Audit & Finance Committee to maintain transparency and accountability.
• Create and implement financial policies and procedures.

Government Grants & Compliance

• Ensure timely management, billing, and reporting of government grants.
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Support program leaders in aligning grant funding with operational goals.

Operations & Infrastructure

• Lead IT strategy, system security, and digital transformation.
• Oversee facilities management for shelter, administrative, residential, and multi-campus operations.
• Provide executive oversight of the Donation Center program, including retail, logistics, and call center operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in relevant field (preferably advanced degree).
• 10+ years leadership of diverse teams, involving budgets at least $5M.
• Financial leadership of a complex organization, relevant to the duties listed above.
• Operations management experience of multiple functions. Able to craft and execute new operational processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex information to various groups. Contributor to executive-level conversations; providing insights and influencing strategic decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a flexible, collaborative, and strategic mindset.
• Technology savvy.
• A sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, mission-driven environment that is constantly evolving.
• A deep commitment to SafeNests mission and a desire to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by domestic and sexual violence.
