Your Daily Work Schedule You will assist in helping the sales team in closing their customers. Work effectively with finance, billing, and service to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You can coach, train, and develop team members to maximize potential, creating a strong dealership culture. You will provide the sales department with exceptional customer service. Help find new ways to create new customers and to keep existing customers utilizing past sales history, dealer advertising plans, and sales promotions. You will work closely with the general manager to determine the weekly and monthly supply of new and used vehicles, quickly addressing over-aged vehicles. You will participate in monthly dealership meetings forecasting expenses, profits, and operating costs for the sales department. You will continue personal development by attending all required meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities. Meet and surpass quotas and projections on a regular basis. You are a positive, ethical team leader fostering positive working relationships with employees, finance lenders, dealer manufacturers, and vendors. You will provide essential documents and maintain impeccable record keeping. Other tasks as assigned. Qualities We’re Looking For You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You understand the importance of listening and being empathetic. You understand the equal importance of both variable and fixed operations. You have proven ability to develop and achieve monthly and annual projections. You enjoy speaking to people, helping them with a patient focus and attention. You have strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You have experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction. You have at least five years of prior employment in automotive sales. You have friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude. Flexible with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays. You have at least three years of experience in a general sales management role with a domestic dealership. You have a proven track record for success along with a stable work history. You exhibit strong decision-making ability. You have a proven ability to motivate and lead employees, and to hold them accountable. You have strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred.
